Beaulieu Village
New Forest
Appointed by the Rt Hon R. Montagu, Neill Beasley helped to develop a strategy for the future expansion and enhancement of the village within the conservation area boundary. This was the first major development in the village for a century.
Phase one resulted in the construction of 10 houses on land made available by the Beaulieu Settled Estate. David Barnes and Neill then designed five more units together with new public lavatories.
The result is a harmonious collection of vernacular dwellings in a unique conservation area providing a mix of 10 units with houses and bungalows having 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms.
