St. Edwards High School

Classroom Block (completed 1998):
The first phase of works undertaken at the school comprised a classroom block accommodating 5 new classrooms.

Sports Hall (completed 2004):
A New 4 badminton court sports hall was completed as phase 2.

Sixth Form Block (completed 2005):
The new Sixth Form building at St. Edwards comprises of a conversion of an existing 1960’s flat roofed single storey steel frame building, with a new first floor built over the top. This was achieved by placing new columns outside the existing ground floor which reduced the number of internal columns. The new first floor external walls were quickly erected using curtain walling and insulated cladding panels.

The accommodation includes new common room, study room, IT suite, new classrooms and offices. A new Sixth Form reception and office was also created. The building was fully accessible with a disabled WC position and lift access to the first floor.

Music & SEN Suite (completed 2005):
A new Music and SEN suite was built comprising Music Rooms, Group room, Office, SEN, One to One Rooms, Lounge Area and Resource Room.
