Increasing this Middle School to 5FE on a constrained site entailed extensive rationalisation of the existing building to accommodate each year group.

The new extension, comprising a modern Science department and Arts block situated at the front of the School, presents considerable impact and yet respects the architectural language of forms in the main building.

The new accommodation enjoys natural light and natural ventilation through the raised central core of the block designed to create a fresh atmosphere to the internal spaces.

The decanted arts and science accommodation provided new classrooms, practical areas, improved storage and enlarged staff facilities to be created within the existing building.
