Rossmore Community Library
Poole, Dorset

The Community Library and Learning Centre formed part of a £3.4m project for the Borough of Poole comprising three new educational buildings.

Community Learning Centre:

A landmark building on a prime site at the entrance to Rossmore College for use by the College and local residents. Large areas of solid colour were a prerequisite for creating visual interest. The building maximises natural ventilation and light whilst incorporating solar control.

This building was the sustainability winner in the Poole Pride of Place Awards 2005.
