Stephen trained at North East London Polytechnic, gaining an Architectural Diploma and Postgraduate Diploma in Architecture.

He commenced full-time employment with Jackson Greenen Down and Partners at their Winchester offices in 1978 gaining considerable experience in school, housing and healthcare projects. Moving to offices in Bournemouth in 1987 to become a Project Director he headed major commercial developments for ASDA and Sainsburys complimenting his involvement in public authority work.

Setting up The Genesis Design Studio in 1993, Stephen has developed a broad base of experience in a wide range of public, commercial and education sectors, including space audits and master planning.
