David trained at Nottingham University gaining a BA (hons) and BArch degree.
David has developed a respected ability in all aspects of the design process and has worked on a wide range of residential, education and healthcare projects creating contemporary and sensitive solutions that respect their context.
He has gained many practical skills working on historic buildings as well as engendering the advancement of environmental performance and sustainability of the built environment.
Stephen trained at North East London Polytechnic, gaining an Architectural Diploma and Postgraduate Diploma.
Having gained considerable experience in school, housing and healthcare projects, at a previous Architectural practice went on to set up the Genesis Design Studio in 1993 with colleague David.
Stephen has continued to develop a broad base of experience in a wide range of public, commercial and education sectors including space audits and master planning.
Philip trained at Plymouth University, gaining a BA (hons) degree and Postgraduate Diploma with Distinction.
Philip commenced work at The Genesis Design Studio as a student in 2001 and he has gained particular experience in the Housing, Education and Healthcare sectors. Many of his projects have been subject to stringent quality and environmental standards such as BREEAM, Code for Sustainable Homes, Eco-homes and other government guidance.
Philip is particularly interested in exploring contemporary architecture, materiality and sustainability.
