CLIENT - RED MAIDS SCHOOL
This small private school, housed in a converted dwelling, had little scope for expansion. The initial feasibility study concluded that the best value was in converting the existing building and an adjacent old headmistress’s house, and grafting on additional teaching space, new hall, and creating a new entrance linking the different elements.
The resulting design forms a cohesive entity providing the school with an impressive frontage and modern teaching environment.
This project received an Environmental Award from the Bristol Civic Society.
